Session Outline

Philip Morris International has started one of the largest business transformations of any international company. The core to success is changing the internal culture, organisation and ways of working. Mark will talk through how he has built a People Analytics function and in particular an Employee Listening program to help business leaders listen to the aggregated sentiment of the organisation and pinpoint where to take action, to help drive this transformation, through the team’s use of technology and people analytics.

Mark Howarth – Global Head of People & Culture Analytics | Philip Morris International

Mark leads and has built a Global People & Culture Analytics team on a greenfield site, creating expertise across business intelligence, employee listening, strategic insights and organisation analytics. The team’s focus is to help drive PMI’s Business Transformation by providing the data and insights to inform business leaders on the right actions to take on culture, organisation and ways of working changes. Mark has over 15 years’ experience, spending the majority in HR consulting, working on People Analytics, HR & Business Transformation projects, mostly for consumer goods, technology, NGO and governmental organisations. He lives in London but with regular travel.
