Shilpa Sindhe – People Data Scientist | GovTech Singapore

Shilpa is a People Data Scientist at Government Technology Agency of Singapore. In her current role, she is responsible for the starting and establishment of the People Analytics function within the agency’s People & Organisation Division. She specialises in the application of various statistical analytics approaches to deliver data-driven actionable insights for business stakeholders.

Before joining GovTech in early 2021, Shilpa was a People Data Analyst at Micron and spearheaded several reporting and automation initiatives. With more than 10 years of experience in data analytics, she is passionate about using her knowledge in the field to influence fellow data enthusiasts through her Medium blog channel during her spare time. She is also an active advocate for diversity & inclusion efforts and has hosted several workshops and events in her career.


1. Jatin Kumar – People Analyst | Mercari, Inc.

Jatin likes to juggle between coffee, people and data in his current role as a People Analyst at Mercari, Inc. He is leading a project to build data infrastructure for HR data at Mercari, which will become the foundation for all data-driven decision making.  Prior to this role, Jatin worked as a Software Engineer and Technical Recruiter across multiple organizations in Japan, Singapore and India. His current organization, Mercari, Inc. is a growing Japanese tech unicorn that operates the largest C2C marketplace app in Japan. In his free time, Jatin likes to study Japanese, play DJ and review restaurants!


2. Daniel Kusmanto – Global Head, HR Analytics | ASM International

Daniel is currently the Global Head, HR Analytics at ASM. In his current role, his main task is to build HR Analytics capability within ASM from scratch. He has 9-year experience in building and expanding HR Analytics solutions within companies ranging from semiconductor to banking with regional responsibility. Some of his works include HR data warehouse, dashboards, deployment of self-serve analytics platform, and predictive analytics projects. Daniel started his career in IT in 2004 before switching to HR Analytics in 2012.


3. Surendra Kumar Dattatrey – Associate Director (Analytics & Insights) | S&P Global

Surendra has proven IT Professional with experience of 14 years in Development & Project Implementation and currently working as a Associate director with S&P Global, generating insights using Machine Learning. Possess experience in the IT industry, focusing on business analysis, design, development, implementation, and migration of large-scale, big budget business transformation projects. Impeccable knowledge for initiating applications with Algorithms, Data structures, Binary tree, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning & Project Implementation. Actively contributes in conducting expert business & systems analysis, identifying business improvements & information systems solutions, coordinating & scheduling projects, developing & monitoring project plans, and managing a team with the end-to-end delivery of projects.
