Bio

Karin Inga Timcke – Manager Rewards & Analytics | Swissport International

Karin Timcke is a HR-Analytics Expert at Swissport Headquarters in Zurich, where she is responsible for the whole conceptional and operational HR-Analytics processes including the system-management of Microsoft Power BI. She received her BSc in Business Administration Technology from Zurich University of applied science before eventually becoming Finance-manager at Jet Aviation in 2007. After working seven years in Finance in different functions in the Aviation industry she accepted a new position as HR- and Finance-manager in a start-up company in the financial industry sector. In this broad role she was responsible for the whole business administration including HR, Compensation & Benefits as well as Finance. In this function she discovered her passion for HR-Analytics as well as the huge potential of this still young and unrevealed topic. After this challenging and exiting position she moved to SIX (Swiss Exchange) where she was responsible for implementing and developing the Group HR-Controlling.

When not traveling, Karin enjoys snowboarding, going on hikes, and planning for the next adventure in the mountains.

 

Joël Outry – Manager Global Performance & Analytics – Business Intelligence | Swissport International

He is the global business manager for the business intelligence solution Microsoft Power BI and drives governance, standardization, collaboration, and the implementation of changes throughout the network which is comprised of over 320 stations and 68’000 employees across the globe. On top of that, the global performance and analytics team is responsible for the centralized data collection and report distribution for all internal operations reporting in Swissport. It further engages in crossfunctional projects, ad hoc analysis and regularly hosts workshops and trainings to strengthen the data-driven culture. Joël holds a Bsc in Aviation with a specialization in management and operations and is currently pursuing an MBA for Aviation at the Embry Riddle University in Singapore.

Aside from crunching numbers at work, he spends his free time and passion for rebuilding classic motorcycles and his aviation startup.
